Thank you for visiting Arizona Parents for Education! We are a group of parents committed to protecting and advocating for our children’s access to the public school that best fits their needs. Online school is the best fit for some Arizona families and we will continue to advocate for our children to ensure they have the tools they need to be successful in Arizona’s online schools.

WHO WE ARE

We were first created in 2008 after serious cuts were proposed to online learning, and we were successful as parents in action, to stopping them. Later we were instrumental in working with our elected officials to make online learning a permanent fixture in public education. Every year we will continue to work hard to protect our kids and public education.

We Support Distance Learning Education in Arizona

Arizona Parents for Education is a group of parents committed to protecting and advocating for our children and to ensure they have the tools they need to be successful in Arizona’s online schools. Sometimes due to unique family or individual child’s situation which may include medical concerns, safety issues, or students who aren’t able to be safe or successful in a traditional public school. That’s where distance learning comes in. With a tailored curriculum and topnotch teachers, our kids get back on track and stay on track.

We Protect, Advocate & Inform

Arizona Parents for Education is an alliance OF parents FOR parents that supports and defends parents’ rights to access the best public school options for their children. We keep other parents and policymakers informed when it comes to legislation or policies that may have a positive or negative impact on their child’s education. We support innovative education programs and policies that are conducive to public school options, including charter schools, online schools, magnet schools, and open enrollment policies.

Sometimes due to unique family situations or medical challenges, students aren’t able to be successful in a traditional public school. That’s where distance learning comes in. With a tailored curriculum and topnotch teachers, our kids get back on track and stay on track.

Online Schools Deserve Full Funding

A balanced state budget shouldn’t come at the expense of our state’s children. Please promise our kids that you will not cut funding for these unique public schools.
